The Conclusion of Climate Control

Since its invention, humans have appreciated the respite from heat that climate control technology provides, but as climate and energy concerns grow, it may be time to seriously consider our attachment to such devices. A/C can be an important tool in maintaining health, especially in vulnerable populations, but it could also be source of future climate catastrophe. The development of alternative energy efficient cooling will be essential, to both provide people with an affordable way of cooling themselves, while both limiting the consumption on energy and the impact on the environment that climate control technology has.
